Il nome The Bluebeaters è un richiamo alla Label discografica britannica Blue Beat Records, famosa per il proprio repertorio ska e rocksteady giamaicano, genere che la band propone sia trasformando classici della musica mondiale che scrivendone di originali in italiano, sempre coerenti con i suoni e le atmosfere delle origini.
